K-12 Food Service Worker

No nights or weekends!

All Saints Academy is a K-12 school. Shifts would be Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm, and follow the ASA academic calendar for holiday closures.

Creative Dining Services is looking for a Food Service Worker to join our dining services team at All Saints Academy in Winter Haven, FL. This role will entail food preparation and serving meals in an elementary school environment, working cooperatively as a valued member of the dining services team, and assisting with any aspect of the dining services program necessary, to include cashier duties during meal service.

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare food such that all food is ready for use within the established timeframe.
• Prepares food items according to established recipes and menus in a manner in which preserves food freshness, quality and appeal.
• Supports other kitchen employees in assuring that the essential functions of the kitchen are performed adequately and appropriately.
• Puts away/Pulls stock as needed.
• Cashier will follow proper cash handling procedures and ensure accurate accounting of all transactions during work shift.
• Communicate with our guests and students in a friendly manner.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 1 year food service experience, K-12 preferred
• ServSafe Certification
• Cash handling experience
