Full-Time Traveling Butler/Houseman Tri State Based Applicants Only

FULL-TIME TRAVELING BUTLER/HOUSEMAN - TRI STATE BASED APPLICANTS ONLY Our clients with multiple estates around the US are looking for a New York based Traveling Butler to join their busy household located in New York. The perfect candidate will be Covid vaccinated, passport ready and able to travel domestically and internationally, have high level estate experience and be responsible and adventurous to assist a formal family. This is a home where principals are addressed as Mr. and Mrs., uniforms are worn, tattoos are covered at all times and training at a series of domestic properties is a part of the hiring process. Spend summers in the mid-west and be prepared to travel to the next location at a moment's notice. Must be comfortable doing full-charge housework, organizing, creating and maintaining daily checklists as well as assisting the Chef, bartending and supervising events as the principals do a lot of entertaining. Being confident around high-profile individuals with the ultimate level of discretion is a must Responsibilities Creating Staff Schedules Cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing Sanitizing surfaces such as gym equipment and other surfaces Ordering and restocking household items such as toiletries and groceries Running errands per principal's request Washing clothing and linens Organizing throughout the household Reporting any maintenance issues that may arise Monitoring vendors to ensure they are staying on task Assisting guests with their potential needs Assisting chefs with cooking and food preparation Food service Using a computer to complete projects, photo uploading, and providing updates as needed Ensuring all household protocols are followed Extensive travel, 2-4 months at a time Ability to work weekends and nights as needed Other duties as assigned Requirements Covid vaccination required Valid passport required Must agree to wear a uniform (no facial hair, no piercings, no visible tattoos ever) Discretion: NDA's will be signed No pet allergies At least five years of experience in high level and formal domestic estate roles Ability to pass a comprehensive background check Extensive Butler or housekeeping experience, knowledge of managing an estate a plus Ability to work with little to no supervision while maintaining a high level of quality In-depth knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning Ability to switch between tasks quickly while maintaining quality Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to continuously prioritize, time management skills and problem solve Selfless style, team oriented Superior communication skills and knowledge of English language Highly responsive Ability to be held accountable This position is a traveling position. Butler will travel both domestically and internationally and will be provided housing and a company vehicle to drive in every location. During summers (undisclosed location) there is shared staff housing on the property with your own bedroom. Location: New York, NY + travel Schedule: Full time, some weekends, a variety of shifts from mornings to evenings and travel. Must be reachable and responsive via text Compensation: $45-$50/HR + Benefits (Medical, Dental and Vision plans.
