What Youll Do:
A Dishwasher is responsible for washing and cleansing tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment. This position keeps the restaurant and equipment clean and organized.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Well-versed in health codes and hygiene methods for washing procedures in the kitchen
- Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware
- Load, run and unload dish machine
- Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
- Keep dish room clean and organized
- Monitor dish machine water temperature and sanitizer levels to ensure sanitary wash cycle
- Maintain adequate levels of dish detergent, cleaning supplies and tableware for dining room and kitchen
- Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems
- Bag and haul trash to dumpster at designated times
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the dumpster zone
- Clean food preparation and production areas as required
- Assist the prep cook during down time
- Perform station opening/closing and side work duties for each shift
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure a smooth and an efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the Restaurant Manager or immediate supervisor
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and
- Embody and deliver on exceptional service and hospitality
What we are looking for:
- Previous and/or relevant experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong communication skills, both with guests and teammates
- A positive, upbeat attitude with a strong work ethic
- Flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends were looking for team players who can adapt to the flow of the restaurant
- A valid Food Handler Card (must have upon hire)
- Ability to work standing for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and manage a physically demanding role.
- Must be 18 years or older
- Location: Sushi Roku Las Vegas, Forum Shops at Caesar / 3rd Level
- Dates: August 4th August 9th and August 11 August 16
- Time: 10am 4pm
