Marketing Alliance Samples is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The Janitor will be responsible for removing waste and ensure the waste and collected materials are sorted into the appropriate containers.

Responsibilities:

• Remove garbage and recycle materials from all areas of the facility daily, ensuring bins are emptied and cleaned regularly.
• Perform all cleaning tasks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment.
• Put the boxes and bins back and make sure nothing has been left behind
• Use machinery to help lift and sort items at the waste collection site and recycle site
• Work on the conveyor belt at a waste plant, sorting waste and removing non-recycle items
• Run floor sweeper
• Load out all the trash containers
• Call to schedule pickups of trash

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail in all aspects of cleaning and upkeep.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemicals, and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to utilize the tact and diplomacy required to foster a team environment while keeping projects on schedule and budget.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, as well as a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Forklift experience
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
