Description
The Production Cook is responsible for food preparation, cooking, cleaning, stocking, organizing, and providing excellent customer service.
This is a production kitchen focused on sandwich and salad building, with attention to portion control of meats and dressings.
Shift Options:
Midnight - 8:00am
2:00am - 10:00am
3:00am - 11:00am
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Food Preparation : Assisting with food preparation such as creating fruit cups, maintaining the salad bar, stocking food supplies, etc.
- Teamwork : Contribute to a positive team environment. Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments. Identify alarms or changes in morale and performance. Maintain calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to set a positive example for the team.
- Safety & Sanitation : Follow operational policies and procedures. Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines. Clean, sanitize and organize work areas, utensils, and equipment. Clean service and seating areas. Scrub and polish counters, tables, and other equipment. Perform other duties such as sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes, to keep equipment and facilities sanitary.
Job Requirements
- 1 year of food service experience required. Strong food prep skills preferred.
- Food/Beverage Production - Knowledge of techniques and equipment for preparing, serving, storing and handling food and beverage products.
- Mathematics - Ability to add and subtract, charging appropriately and distributing change to customers.
