Seeking a grill cook with great work ethic and attitude, leadership skills is a bonus!

The grill cook at Mutiny in the Heights is responsible for preparing and grilling foods to meet specific customer preferences, such as temperature, dietary restrictions, and allergies. They're often required to handle tasks in other areas of the kitchen, in addition to their grill stations, when necessary, such as saut ing, baking, barbecuing in our smoker, and cleaning. As a kitchen team member, the grill cook will work with the other members of the back of house in a cooperative, respectful, and helpful way to aplish any task.

Additional grill cook job duties and responsibilities include:

Arrive at work on time, professional, clean, and with a good attitude

Keeping track of meal prepponents to ensure timelypletion of final dishes

Chopping and preparing vegetables and other non-meat ingredients

Stocking ingredients and kitchen supplies

Maintaining clean,anized, and sanitized workstations

Checking perishable ingredients and food items for freshness and safety.

Taking daily measures to prevent food cross-contamination

Efficient use of time and a sense of urgency throughout the shift

Adhering to all health code rules and maintaining a current food handler's certificate

Participating actively in opening and closing duties of service
