Position: Cook
Status: Full-Time
Restaurant capacity: 40 persons
Shift: Various schedule, Weekend availability needed
Hours of operation: Tuesday to Thursday, 10:00 AM to 9:30 PM; Friday - Saturday 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM
2 consecutive days off (Sunday-Monday)
Wage: $18-$19/hr DOE
Benefits:
8 hour shifts per day.
Paid overtime
2 consecutive day off.
14 days earned PTO a year
5 sick day a year (does not roll over)
Cook responsibilities and skills:
Work closely with the front of the house to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Prepare ingredients, cooking dishes according to recipes and quality standards, and ensuring proper portioning and plating.
Ensure high-quality food production, preparation, and presentation, and making sure dishes are well-seasoned and cooked perfect.
Monitor and manage inventory levels
Order supplies and ensure proper storage.
Maintain kitchen logs for food safety programs and food products.
Ad to all food safety and hygiene standards, maintain clean andanized workspace, and report any issues or maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in cooking techniques, knowledge of ingredients, and the ability to execute recipes accurately, ensuring precision in food preparation, presentation, and adnce to recipes.
Fluent in English.
Befortable in small team.
Self-motivated and self-directed.
Reliable.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Able to maintain strongmunication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Knowledgeable about food allergies and food preparation standards and procedures for special meal requirements.
Able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
ServSafe certification required.
Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Preferred:
Experience with European cuisine.
Culinary degree preferred or equivalent training experience.
