Understanding This Role: Contractor & Seasonal Work

This is a contractor position, offering you the flexibility of gig work.

Our business experiences seasonal fluctuations. During busy periods, more shifts are typically available, while slower seasons will naturally have fewer. This role is ideal for those seeking a flexible schedule that adapts to our event calendar.

ABOUT YOU

RESPONSIBILITIES

To safely transport and set up mobile espresso carts, anyw and everyw

To provide friendly and professional service to our clients and their guests

To provide the highest quality specialty coffee beverages this town's ever seen

To be an ambassador for Creature Coffee, making friends and delicious coffee all over

To be an adaptable event professional, with an understanding of client needs and a level-headed make-it-work attitude

To keep a clean and visually stunning coffee bar

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Continually required to stand and walk

Frequently required to lift, bend, stoop, or kneel

Must lift and move more than 75 pounds, like large ice chests and La Marzocco GS3s

QUALIFICATIONS

Two years of Specialty Coffee experience preferred

Experience and proficiency with standard specialty coffee espresso preparation and latte art standards - tulip stacking is essential!

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for specialty coffee

Greatmunication skills with coworkers, clients, and their guests

Every week is different, must be happy to work early mornings and late nights when required

Excellent time management and 100% reliable

Creature baristas are kind, adaptable, engaging, and professional

Posi vibes are a must!

Loves checklists and can easily follow detailed instructions and reference guides

Must have at least 3+ days of availability per week during busy months

Must have valid Drivers License and reliable transportation

Food Handlers + TABC certifications
