Line Cook at Moonlight BasinStart Date: November 17, 2025End Date: April 16, 2026Moonlight Club LLC d/b/a Moonlight Basin, located in Big Sky, Montana, seeks twenty-four (24) full-time, temporary Line Cooks who will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, pastries, and other food items in a restaurant.Will report directly to the Culinary Director at Moonlight Basin. Six (6) months of experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end or high-volume restaurant, resort, or private club required.Applicant must complete pre-employment background check at employers expense. All worksites located in Big Sky, Montana. Travel throughout this area is required.Daily transportation to and from worksite is provided via employee shuttle and community bus.On-the-job training is provided. Wage: $18.03 $21.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Overtime is available at $27.05 $31.50 per hour. Employee may also receive a service charge based on hours worked. Employees may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of a discretionary end-of-season bonus of $1,500 as well as a discretionary employee appreciation bonus.Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:00am 2:00pm, or 1:00pm 9:00pm. Shift hours may vary.A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Optional housing is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis for workers who are relocating to begin employment. Cost of housing, if accepted, is $650.00 per month for double occupancy and $1,200.00 for single occupancy. If used, total cost of housing will be deducted from paycheck on the first two paychecks of each month in the amount of $325 to $600. Cost of housing includes utilities and internet. A $300.00 non-refundable administration fee is required, which will either (depending upon employees choice) be deducted in equal $150 installments from employees first two (2) paychecks or deducted from the employees first paycheck in the amount of $300.Additional, optional benefits may be offered to worker, for workers sole benefit, including but not limited to health insurance and 401k. If voluntarily elected by worker, employee costs/contributions for benefits will be deducted from paycheck.All deductions from paycheck required by law will be made. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for all reasonable inbound transportation and subsistence costs within the first workweek. The employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for all reasonable outbound transportation and subsistence costs during the last workweek. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
