Sushi Cook Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and present a variety of sushi and sashimi dishes according to traditional Japanese techniques and our restaurant's recipes.
- Select high-quality fish and ingredients, ensuring freshness and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station, adhering to applicable health and safety policies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff.
- Provide excellent customer service, including interacting with guests and taking special requests. Sushi Cook Qualifications:
- Experience with sushi, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of sushi and sashimi preparation, knife skills, and food safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Creativity and attention to detail in food presentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
