Job Summary: The Ponderosa bartender/cocktail server will prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons. Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks including assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations. Maintaining your section, to include cleaning tables and filling beverages. Assist other cocktail servers in picking up glasses and tending to patrons as needed.

' Wage: $16.30/hr plus tips.

' Schedule: Weekends required

Requirements

' 4 years previous bartending/serving experience in high volume lounge is required

' Must be able to obtain Oregon Food Handlers Certificate and OLCC Servers Permit

' MICROS experience is highly desired

' Must be able to handle a wide variety of personalities and situations

' Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

' Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

' Maintain a high level of professionalism, maturity, and punctuality

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or walk for a minimum of six hours. Use hands and fingers for filing, to operate a computer key board, cash register, and phones. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee is required to talk, see, and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds with the aid of a dolly.
