ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Sweep, scrub, mop floors and keep outside walkways and steps clear.

Vacuum and clean carpets, rugs, draperies, window shades, furniture, and inside stone walls

Dust and polish furniture, lamps, walls, and ceiling fans

Keep storage room areas and all cabinets clean and organized

Clean chandeliers, mirrors, and display cases on a scheduled basis

Polish bronzes, granite, and collectables throughout home both inside and out as needed

Plant and animal maintenance

Clean fireplaces as needed

Empty and clean trash containers

Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner

Clean wash basins, tubs, showers, and stools

Wipe down glass surfaces and clean appliance and grills on a schedule as needed

Make up beds and change linens as required

Keep rooms clean and tidy

Wash windows as needed between schooled professional window cleanings

Sort, wash, load and unload laundry

Iron and steam clothing and household linens as needed

Pick up laundry and cleaning as needed

Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition

Operate mechanized cleaning equipment

Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements

Food preparations and serving as needed

Maintain food expiration dates and discard outdated items.

Any and all other duties as assigned.

High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods

Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials

Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment

Minimum experience in a housekeeping, housecleaner position of two years

Work references required

Must be able to operate a motor vehicle

Active CPR certification
