Housekeeping Job Description Perform general maintenance of buildings which includes tasks such as trash removal, recycling, moving furniture and boxes, setting up rooms for special events, and breaking down rooms after events. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance of buildings, including trash removal and recycling. Move furniture and boxes as required. Set up and break down rooms for special events. Assist with relocating offices. Work Environment Work in a multi-building college campus, which includes classrooms, shared spaces, grounds, hospitals, and laboratories. The position is a 1st shift role from 7 am to 4 pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, New Jersey. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
