Custodian

Job Summary

Perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the facilities. Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and shampoo carpets

Polish floors and dust/polish furniture

Wash windows, adjust shades, and replace light bulbs

Clean desks, countertops, and sanitize restrooms, sinks, urinals, and toilets

Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles

Identify and report maintenance needs within the building

Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance

Formal or informal education or training that supports the responsibilities of the role

Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid driver's license

Pre-Employment Requirements:

The selected candidate must successfully pass a urinalysis and/or blood test to screen for alcohol and/or drug use prior to employment.
