Schedule: M-F 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and every other weekend: 7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m. (flexible days off M-F when working weekend).

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, respectful Cook with a positive attitude to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong cooking skills, an understanding of food safety and knife handling, and the ability to prepare soups, sauces, gravies, and marinades. Most importantly, the candidate should enjoy working with seniors and bring kindness and reliability to our dining services team.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary guidelines
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and knife safety practices
Consistently prepare soups, sauces, gravies, and marinades
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Work collaboratively to ensure meals are served on time and to standard
Communicate respectfully with staff, residents, and families
Support a warm, homelike dining experience
Qualifications:
Prior cooking experience preferred, especially in senior care or healthcare
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food safety, and knife handling
Experience making soups, sauces, gravies, and marinades
Enjoys working with seniors and has a kind, team-focused attitude
Must be dependable, motivated, and have a good attitude
ServSafe or food handler certification preferred
