Job DetailsJoin our team as a Banquet Captain and help create memorable guest experiences! Youll oversee set-up, service, and clean-up for events while leading and supporting waitstaff to ensure smooth, timely service. This hands-on role includes training new team members, reading Banquet Event Orders, and ensuring special requestslike dietary needsare met. The ideal candidate has previous banquet or hospitality experience, full-time availability (Saturday evenings required), and a passion for excellent service. This position has a starting wage of $5.23/hour, plus gratuity pool, averaging $28+/hour.
Some of the things you are responsible for:
- Making sure all set-ups are done according to contract, make sure they are running on time and that clean-up is proper and complete
- Helping train new waitstaff on the proper banquet waitstaff procedures
- Reading Banquet Event Order contracts and being aware of special items, such as specific dietary needs or allergies
- Supervising and directing waitstaff for each function during busy and slow times of meal service
- Attentively serving meals and beverages to guests with courtesy and knowledge of the meal
- Ensuring the banquet is running smoothly: glasses are filled, food is served, and tables are cleared in a timely fashion
- Other duties as assigned

- High School or better.
- 1 year: Food and beverage experience
- 1 year: Customer Service experience
- Prior banquet experience desired!
