Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $15.00 - Midpoint: $17.26 (Hourly N1)

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm
Job Summary: The Groundskeeper provides basic labor for landscape and flower installation and maintenance. Works outdoors in all types of weather. Drives University vehicles such as trucks, golf carts, mowers, and tractors from site-to-site.
Additional Department Summary: Stand, walk, lift, and carry groundskeeping equipment for prolonged periods. Shifts may exceed 8 hours per day depending on the condition of the grounds and campus event schedules. Work will take place in all types of weather, hot, cold and/or rainy conditions depending on the season. Assigned job-related locations will occur at various locations, including football games.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to work overtime, sometimes on short notice.
A valid U.S. driver's license is required. Applicants must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Final candidates must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
