Tu Brd restaurant is located in Secret Cove, at the Rockwater Resort, only a short ferry ride from Vancouver, BC. The Sunshine Coast stretches nearly 100 kilometers along the shoreline of the Salish Sea, sheltered by the backdrop of the rugged coastal mountains. The entire resort is under new ownership. The restaurant has both permanent full-time and part-time positions open for a day cook. The NEW owners of the restaurant, the Rockwater Food and Beverage company, are a dynamic, customer-centric group of professionals. Their goal is to deliver an unforgettable hospitality experience to every guest served.

Responsibilities:
Preparing food according to customer preference
Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness
Ability to work in a high speed environment while maintaining a calm and positive attitude
Monitoring and managing your cooking tools and ingredients
Having a just say yes attitude to accommodate clients with specific diet and health concerns
Collaborating with the Chef and Sous in developing features for fresh sheets
Experience in using different cooking tools, equipment, and utensils
Expert knowledge of various cooking methods and procedures
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Understanding of food preparation techniques
Able to withstand long hours of standing, bending, and moving around
Ability to follow recipe instructions

Compensation:
