Harborview - Food and Nutrition has an outstanding opportunity for a Food Service Worker 4 .

WORK SCHEDULE
  • Saturday-Wednesday from 11-7:30pm

  • Under general supervision, perform a variety of duties in the preparation, delivery, and set-up of catering orders, or conduct the operation of a mobile food truck, or lead Food Service Worker 3 staff and other assigned staff.

    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides excellent, respectful customer service to a diverse customer base, in a medical setting
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages compliant with medically prescribed diet orders, including fluid, texture, electrolyte and nutrient restrictions in a medically vulnerable population or with special attention to food allergens and cross-contamination
  • Under general supervision, perform a variety of advanced Food Service Worker duties in preparing and serving food and beverages for medically vulnerable populations, or with special attention to food allergens and cross-contamination, and perform clean-up and sanitization activities for food equipment.
  • Perform advanced Food Service Worker duties to prepare and serve food and beverages for medically vulnerable populations, or with special attention to food allergens and cross-contamination.
  • Retrieval and processing of food and food preparation/serving equipment with adherence to healthcare-level infection and cross-contamination prevention protocols.
  • Lead Food Service Work 3 staff in food preparation, serving and/or sanitization for medically vulnerable populations or with special attention to food allergens and cross-contamination

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Possession of, or eligible to obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card and (if required) a Class 12 Liquor License within two weeks of employment, one year of related experience in catering or dining and customer service
    AND
  • Possession of Washington State Drivers License (if required)
    OR
  • Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration
