Uniform Room Attendant
Compensation: $14.00 per hour
The opportunity
Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a seasonal Uniform Room Attendants to join our team at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia. The Uniform Room Attendant's responsibilities include cleaning, pressing, and folding clothes and other textile articles. You should also be able to record which items belong to whom.
To be a successful uniform room attendant, you should demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Top-notch candidates will consult with department managers to discuss supplementary laundering-related services that may be of use to them.

What will you do?
Sorting, washing, drying, steaming, pressing, and folding and/or hanging clothing and other textile items
Tracking which items belong to which department
Issuing uniforms on game-day and tracking inventory utilizing a barcode scanner to accurately account for distributed and received garments
Keeping an updated inventory of laundry detergents and sewing kits
Tracking maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment
Ensuring that the facility remains clean at all times.
Anticipating and responding to staff queries, concerns, and complaints
More about you
Must be at least 18 years of age
Limited to no experience required; previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience preferred
Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools and fixtures
Ability to follow directions and work quickly under pressure
Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations
No high school diploma or GED required
Physical requirements
Frequent walking and standing for entire length of shift
Frequent climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying
