General Definition:
- Prepares and servers prepared foods for purchases at concessions locations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist patrons and accept payment for food & beverage service in a friendly and ethical manner
- Notifies stand supervisor of inventory items needed
- Receives payment and makes appropriate change as needed
- Records in cash register and balances cash at end of shift
- Cooks or performs other minor duties to prepare food, serve customers, and maintain orderly eating or serving areas
- Maintains quality control of food and the sanitation of area
- Follows directions of the supervisor and cash handling policy guidelines as directed
- Dependability, good attendance, and occasional overtime required.
- May be required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as scheduled.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or GED; or 1 year related experience and/or training; or combination.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Possess good organization skills.
- Basic math.
- Ability to communicate and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to interact positively with coworkers and management.
- Ability to prioritize time so that work is accomplished on a dependable basis; is reliable and committed to meeting schedules and deadlines.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, including being proactive and resourceful, working independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to win confidence and gain respect through consistent demonstrations of personal courtesy, tact and timely responsiveness.
Training:
- One year of cashier experience required
Licenses/Certifications/Other:
- Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency if applicable to perform the essential job functions
- Serve-safe certified (Food Handlers)
- Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission License (TABC)
