Job Title: Cafe Server

Location: Cafe Mila - The Colony

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cafe Server to join our team. As a key point of contact with customers, you will take orders, serve food and beverages, and provide excellent service in a relaxed cafe environment. The ideal candidate is personable, attentive, and committed to creating a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers promptly and courteously

Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the POS system

Serve food and beverages in a timely manner

Answer questions about the menu and make recommendations

Ensure tables and dining areas are clean and properly set

Handle payments and issue receipts

Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly

Restock service stations and maintain cleanliness throughout shifts

Assist with opening and closing duties as needed

Follow health and safety guidelines and cafe policies

Qualifications:

Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred (but not required) - will train

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods

Team player with a positive attitude

Basic math skills for handling transactions

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for long periods

Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
