Job Details Exciting opportunity in a chef-driven, casual fine-dining restaurant from the Michelin-starred team behind Rooster & Owl in Washington, D.C.Ellie Bird is a newly constructed space in the heart of Falls Church, VA, listed as one the of the top 100 restaurants by The New York Times, the top 25 restaurants in the DMV by The New York Times, and in the 100 best restaurants by the Washingtonian. We are open for dinner Tuesday-Sunday and brunch Saturday & Sunday. We are currently looking for a Sous Chef to join our team.
The ideal candidate will posses the following qualities and experience :

- Basic computer/POS knowledge
- Understanding of scratch cooking in various cuisines and cooking methods
Respnsibilities:
- Receive and check deliveries
- Direct and supervise daily production
- Mantain a clean, safe and organized environment
- Lead by example, train, coach and mentor staff
- Monitor and maintain equipment
- Keep par levels on inventory and order product accordingly
Compensation: Salary ($60,000.00 - $68,000.00)
