Job DetailsOverview:
We are a craft cocktail bar with a menu of around 20 drinks and small bites in the West Loop. We are currently looking to fill 4-5 bartending shifts on for including both Friday and Saturday. Weekly tips will range from 750-1000 dollars.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve drinks to customers following standard recipes
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check customers' identification and confirm legal drinking age
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Skills:
- Experience in bartending and knowledge of various drink recipes
- Strong hospitality and customer service skills
- Excellent time management abilities to handle peak hours efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Familiarity with food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations
- Retail math proficiency for inventory management
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Compensation: Hourly ($13.00) plus tips
