Position: Hostess

Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and professional HO Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, greeting them warmly, managing the waiting list, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. Your responsibilities will help set the tone for a great dining experience, providing exceptional customer service and assisting with various tasks to support the restaurant's daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Greeting: Greet customers as they enter the restaurant with a welcoming attitude and ensure they are seated promptly and comfortably.
• Table Assignments: Assign customers to available tables based on server availability and restaurant flow.
• Waiting List Management: Manage the waiting list, keeping customers informed of wait times and ensuring efficient seating when tables are available.
• Phone Orders: Take carry-out orders over the phone and assist customers with menu inquiries.
• Team Support: Assist the management team with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Service-Oriented Attitude: A passion for providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve any concerns professionally.
• Bilingual: Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.
• Point of Sale System: Ability to quickly learn and effectively use the restaurant's point of sale (POS) system for taking orders and managing reservations.
• Presentation: Maintain a clean and professional appearance, projecting a positive image of the restaurant.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods and assist in seating guests.
• Ability to walk and manage a busy dining area during peak hours.
