Wright City School District is looking for a Part-Time Food Service worker. This position works a 4.5 hour day.
Position Title: Part-Time Food Service Worker
Reports To: Director of Food Service & Cook Manager
Summary: Prepare, clean and serve daily menus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate on a daily work schedule developed by the Cook Manager or the Director of Food Service.
- Prepare food items using approved recipes, preparation and serving standards.
- Store and use leftovers in accordance with policies of the Cook Manager or the Director of Food Service.
- Maintain approved standards of sanitation, health and safety.
- Assist Cook Manager or the Director of Food Service in completing requisitions for supplies needed.
- Ensure adequate supplies are available for the next day’s needs.
- Is properly attired and adheres to health and sanitary standards.
- Able to follow directions will work in an organized manner.
- Complies with state law and district policies and procedures.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
High school degree or GED.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, and hear, stand, walk, sit and use hands and arms to handle feel and reach. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 60 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70lbs. Regular attendance on the job is an essential function
Terms of Employment:
Terms covering compensation, benefits, and working conditions are specified by the Board of Education’s policies, agreements and approvals. This is a 9-month position non-exempt position.
