Job Summary
The Student Assistant will support Blue Tie Catering as a Food Service Associate on the Statesboro Campus beginning Fall 2025.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.
Responsibilities
Help prepare fresh food items
Event preparation, setup, replenishment, and breakdown
Excellent customer service
Cleaning, including:
Sweeping
Mopping
Polishing equipment
Washing dishes
Removal of trash and recyclables daily
Operating various types of kitchen equipment, including:
Ovens
Dish machines
Shift Specifics
Up to 25 hours per week
Flexible with schedule of availability
Shifts Available Monday - Sunday
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.
Proposed Salary
$10.00 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
