Location DescriptionLake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is nestled high atop the majestic San Bernardino Mountains at an elevation of 5,174’. This Resort is surrounded by an ocean of Ponderosa Pines and gives guests exclusive access to Lake Arrowhead, a reservoir with a surface area of 780 acres. Lake Arrowhead is the perfect location for outdoor adventure enthusiasts and offers a variety of summertime and wintertime activities including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, water skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ziplining, and more. The resort includes a Bar & Restaurant, Spa & Wellness Center, Outdoor Pool & Lake Beach as well as over 23,000 sq. ft of meeting and events space.
OverviewWe are looking for a highly motivated, and customer focused to join our team as a Spa Receptionist! In this role , you are responsible for the guest experience within the resort/hotel spa and ensuring those guests have an enjoyable, relaxing experience by engaging with the guests in a courteous and efficient manner. The Spa Receptionist greets guests and introduces the facilities and program components to individuals and groups. This individual will ensure that the Spa area remains clean and stocked with every essential and assist guests with any needs or requests they may have. They will be working closely with different members of our team, so they will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude.

Y our role:
- Maintain complete knowledge of all aspects of the Spa, including, however not limited to, venue features and layouts, treatments & services provided, retail products and their benefits, hours of operation.
- Develop spa services knowledge by learning about all of the resort’s spa services including massage, aesthetics, fitness center, and fitness classes.
- Maintas a clean and well organized lobby, front desk, gym, locker rooms, and all service areas in an immaculate condition.
- Completes daily assessment of the entire spa facility ensuring high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Greeting guests with direct eye contact and a smile, welcoming them to Spa of the Pines.
- Provides guest tours of the facilities, along with information about services offered in the resort.
- Provides updates and accurate information regarding spa services, memberships, and activities.
- Confirms spa services and scheduling by greeting guests, reviewing reservations, creating and/or editing reservations, and making necessary changes.
- Achieves a high quality of guest service by answering inquiries concerning spa services and general information.
- Maintain a cash bank effectively; running daily reports and performing end of shift drops.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous spa experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in customer service preferred.
- Cashier experience required with ability to perform cash and credit card transactions.
- Point of sale transactions, audit and accuracy experience a must.
- Must possess a positive, friendly, and professional attitude to all customers, employees, and guests.
- Computer knowledge preferred, Word, Outlook, Teams and Excel.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Must be able to connect with various types of personalities.
- Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance and uniform.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly to ascertain and document client information.
- Must be able to perform basic math functions including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing numbers and percentages.
- Must be able to work various schedules, including days/nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Compensation Range
The compensation for this position is $17.00/Hr. - $19.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
