Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal Janitor will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including floor care, industrial cleaning, and general maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to ensure cleanliness.
Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of appearance.
Carry out custodial duties in commercial and industrial settings, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, replenishing supplies as needed.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
Experience

Previous experience in custodial or facilities maintenance roles is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
Knowledge of floor care methods and products is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)
