Bettendorf Community School District is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Custodian. This full-time position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Start date is August 2025—apply today!

Position: Custodian
Start Date: August 2025
Rate of Pay: $22.51/hour
Hours: 8.0 hours/day – First Shift

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of custodial supplies, cleaning methods, and techniques

• Ability to follow all health and safety regulations

• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities

• Maintain a sanitary, safe, and attractive environment

• Communicate effectively with staff, students, and guests

• Ability to work independently in the absence of specific instruction or continuous supervision
