Turn Housekeeping Into an Art

At La Playa Hotel, housekeeping isnt just about keeping things tidy. Its about creating a memorable guest experience and exceeding expectations. Your role will be paramount in ensuring our guest rooms glow with cleanliness and hospitality. From maintaining the exterior of guest rooms, to organizing room attendant linen closets and keeping a well-stocked supply of linens, your efforts will make a lasting impression on our guests.

What Does a Day in the Life of a Hotel House Person Look Like?

• Efficiently transport clean and dirty linen to appropriate locations.
• Strip departure rooms, removing all dirty linen and trash.
• Report any deficiencies in guest rooms to Housekeeping Management or Engineering.
• Ensure punctual, regular, and reliable attendance.
• Actively support safe work habits and maintain a safe working environment.

Our ideal candidate has an open availability and is ready to work weekends and holidays. You bring six months of related experience and a commitment to excellence and high standards. You're versatile, flexible and thrive within a constantly changing environment.

Qualifications:

• Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Must speak and understand basic terms, directions, and concepts in the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must provide valid document(s) to work in the US.
• Must meet legal age requirements for the position.

Physical Demands

We dont shy away from a little hard work at La Playa Hotel! The role requires you to stand and walk for long periods, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

Language Skills

• You must speak and communicate fluently in English.
• Clear communication with guests, management, and coworkers is vital.
