The University of Maine at Farmington ( UMF ) is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our Facilities Management team as a Facilities Maintenance Worker, CL1 (Custodial). This vital role is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for our diverse campus community, encompassing students, faculty, staff, and visitors. As a key member of our team, you will contribute directly to the overall health, safety, and aesthetic appeal of our campus facilities.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time (40 hours per week), fiscal year position. A typical work schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 P.M. 7:00 A.M. This is an essential position at the University of Maine at Farmington, in which winter hours are weather-dependent, and the employee will be required to report to work during inclement weather and administrative holidays.

Pay and Benefits: The rate of pay is $16.79 per hour (+$0.80 per hour shift differential for shifts the majority of which fall between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.) for a new hire or the appropriate transfer rate for a current employee within the Service & Maintenance (S&M) Teamsters Union Local #340 collective bargaining unit. In addition, the University will contribute up to a 4% matching contribution to the UMS retirement plan.
