Part Time Union Janitor

About the Role:

The Part Time Union Janitor at our Warren facility plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment that supports efficient manufacturing operations. This position ensures that all assigned areas, including production floors, restrooms, and common spaces, are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to established standards. The janitor contributes to workplace safety by promptly addressing spills, debris, and other hazards, thereby minimizing risks for all employees. Working as part of a unionized team, the janitor collaborates with supervisors and colleagues to uphold facility cleanliness and comply with health and safety regulations. Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and use of janitorial equipment.

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning activities to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow union guidelines and safety protocols while using cleaning equipment and chemicals to ensure personal and team safety.
