Position Purpose:
The Concessions Shift Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Edible Arrangements and Roti Modern Mediterranean concession stands at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
This role manages shift execution, staff scheduling, inventory, and quality control while actively supporting the team during service. The ideal candidate is experienced in food service, comfortable in a fast-paced event environment, and confident leading by example. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong communication, operational awareness, and flexibility.
Parking: Please note that parking is not provided for this position at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. We recommend using MARTA, ride-share, or other personal transportation options to get to and from your shift.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of Edible and Roti stand operations during stadium events, ensuring smooth service and brand consistency
- Assist with scheduling staff for upcoming events based on projected volume and operational needs
- Receive, check, and organize food and supply deliveries, ensuring quality, accuracy, and proper storage
- Monitor and manage inventory levels; conduct regular counts and place restock orders as needed
- Support hourly team members during events by covering breaks, filling in during callouts, and maintaining service flow
- Step in to prepare and assemble food and beverage items during peak times or as operational needs arise
- Operate POS systems to support guest transactions and maintain accurate shift reporting
- Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and stadium protocols are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all workstations, storage areas, and equipment
- Provide real-time coaching, feedback, and support to team members to promote a positive working environment
- Act as a secondary point of contact for internal stadium partners and escalate any issues to management as needed
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role within food service, concessions, or hospitality
- Experience with staff scheduling, inventory management, and receiving inventory procedures preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic shift reporting
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Demonstrated accountability, adaptability, and a solution-oriented mindset when handling challenges or shifting priorities
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and stadium event days
Physical Requirements:
- Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
- Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods of time throughout the day.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
