Incumbent serves as Custodian for the Madison County Maintenance Department.

Duties:

• Cleans government facilities by performing the following:

Sweeping, mopping, & vacuuming

Shampooing carpets

Cleaning sinks, toilets, mirrors, windows, walls, etc.

Emptying trash containers & replenishing paper products and other supplies

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of custodial equipment & cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to physically perform custodial activities.
• Ability to read and understand written guidelines and warning labels regarding chemicals & equipment.
