Server - Restaurant

Restaurant servers are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences. The right person will gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine and drink offerings. A Hyatt restaurant server will engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by their style and service attributes. Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment. If you have experience as a server in a restaurant, we'd love to hear from you!

Core Functions:

• Greet guests in a timely manner once seated

• Take food and drink orders accurately

• Deliver orders to table promptly and efficiently

• Collaborate with Culinary team to ensure timely delivery of meals

• Provide recommendations on menu items and specials as appropriate

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area

• Answer guest questions regarding Menu items

• Other duties as assigned

The pay for this position is $17.25 per hour.

• Previous food experience in the food industry is required, experience in Fine Dining restaurants is a plus

• Knowledge of food safety practices

• California RBS training certification a plus

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize task effectively
