A background that includes similar experience preferred. Hiring will be contingent on a clean criminal background check and good character references. PART TIME POSITION We will pay $25.00 per hour for 2 hours per day, 2 OR 3 days per week. This will be a true INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR-based job. We will not withhold taxes, which are your responsibility. Payment by check can be made each week. Please provide a brief description of your previous experiences that qualifies you to be a good caregiver and assistant. All replies will be kept in strictest confidence. After reviewing your written , a telephone interview will be conducted and then based on that, you will be called in for an in-person interview at the family's office. The successful candidate will then spend an hour or two (compensated) at a later scheduled date to see if there is a good "fit" with the person needing your assistance. Duties would include a weekly trip to the grocery store, making lunch, helping with laundry and cleaning and similar activities. He needs some help with personal grooming too; make sure he shaved well and is properly cleaned and dressed whether for going to the store or simply for the day at home. There is a list of exercises he is able and should do every day. He needs the exercise! He does NOT need help with bathing or toileting.
