Snack Bar Cashier is responsible for efficiently and accurately handling customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace at a snack bar or concession stand. This role involves processing payments, potentially preparing and serving food, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greeting customers, taking orders, and providing information about menu items.

Point of Sale Operations:

Processing transactions using cash registers or POS systems, handling cash, credit, and debit card payments, and making change.

Order Fulfillment:

Assembling and packaging orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and potentially preparing food items.

Cleanliness and Organization:

Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including the counter area and dining area (if applicable).

Inventory Management:

Assisting with stocking and organizing snacks, drinks, and other supplies.

Problem Solving:

Addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and handling returns or exchanges.

Cash Handling:

Ensuring accuracy in cash management, balancing the register at the beginning and end of shifts, and reporting any discrepancies.

Food Safety:

Following food safety guidelines and maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.

Upselling:

Suggesting additional items or promotions to customers.

Qualifications:
