Cashier/Food Service Attendant

CHOSEN is seeking a Cashier/Food service Attendant to join our team. This is a behind the counter position and your primary responsibilities will include taking customer orders, bagging food, ringing out customers and answering questions. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have a strong sense of responsibility and work well with others. The ideal candidate should have strong customer service skills and be capable of defusing tense situations with a calm and positive attitude. Additionally, the candidate should be skilled at managing and controlling crowds during busy times to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience for all our customers. Our Associates take pride in every aspect of our work and perform it with energy and enthusiasm. We need strong team players, with a commitment to serving our guests and creating a warm and friendly atmosphere per CHOSEN standard.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with their orders
• Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately
• Having a thorough knowledge and understanding of the CHOSEN menu
• Experience in reading and following written recipes accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of the front area
• Replenishing sauces in the to go containers
• Putting away inventory
• Take pride in every aspect of your work and perform it with energy and enthusiasm
• Work as a team player with a commitment to outstanding customer service
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Practices sanitary and safe food handling at all times
• Maintain supply inventory and notify management of all restocking requirements
• Assist with the cleanup of the kitchen, cooking equipment, work surfaces, station tables as needed or requested
• Performs other duties as instructed

Qualifications:

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a calm and focused demeanor
• Strong attention to detail
• Capable of defusing tense situations with a calm and positive attitude
• Experience in reading and following written recipes accurately
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
• Mobility during the entire shift and physical stamina to stand for full shifts and more
• Great communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive, professional attitude

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.

Compensation: Hourly ($16.50 - $18.00)
