PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT: Mystic Creek Golf Course & Banquet Center, Camp Dearborn in Milford, Michigan

MINIMUM AGE: 16 years

HOURS/PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT: Part-time position; Currently posting for positions during the golf season which usually starts in March. This is a 7-Day Operation during the golf season; Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Extended time off during the golf season is extremely limited. Must be available for an on-call, event related schedule during the off season.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The employee performs a wide variety of duties as a Kitchen Assistant relating to the operation of the Mystic Creek Golf Course. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing support to the food & beverage staff. Direction and assignments are delegated by golf course management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to operate an automatic dishwasher and minor custodial equipment.
• Ability to perform set up and take down duties.
• Ability and willingness to perform routine tasks associated with the food & beverage operation.
• Ability to service patrons by removing soiled dishes and utensils from tables as needed.
• Ability to serve patrons, answer inquiries and provide assistance.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with other employees and the general public.
• Restaurant or food & beverage service experience desirable, but not required.
• Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING/LICENSING REQUIREMENTS

EXAMINATION PROCEDURE:

• Qualified applicants will be scheduled for an interview.
