The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean workspace, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Experience is preferred but not necessary. We are willing to train. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso drinks, as well as teas and other beverages. Operate the POS system efficiently to process customer transactions. Handle cash accurately and maintain proper cash handling procedures. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including equipment and seating areas. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Uphold health and safety standards in food service practices. Skills Previous experience in food service is preferred but not required. Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transaction processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Familiarity with POS systems Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A genuine interest in coffee culture and knowledge of various brewing techniques is beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
