Job Summary:

The PM Laundry Attendant is responsible for providing guests with clean and neatly pressed linens and towels in a timely manner. This role ensures all laundry is properly sorted, washed, dried, folded, and stored according to brand and company standards. The attendant also maintains a clean and organized laundry area and assists with evening housekeeping duties as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sort all linens and towels by type and soil level.

• Operate washers, dryers, and folding equipment.

• Monitor chemical levels and machine operation to ensure optimal cleaning.

• Inspect laundry for stains and damage; treat or report as needed.

• Fold and organize clean linens and restock storage areas.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room.

• Handle guest laundry (if applicable) with care and return items promptly.

• Assist housekeeping team with stocking carts, taking out trash, or delivering linen to floors as needed during the PM shift.

• Report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisor immediately.

• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.

• Uphold all Marriott brand standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced hotel environment.

• Exposure to heat, humidity, and cleaning chemicals.

• May require occasional bending, stooping, or climbing stairs.
