MAINTENANCE REPAIR WORKER 2 - Minimum Qualifications Waived

The Position

Maintenance Repair Workers perform semi-skilled work in the building and mechanical trades to repair, construct, and/or maintain buildings, facilities and equipment.

The Maintenance Repair Worker 2 position with the Nevada Army National Guard located in Las Vegas. The incumbent will perform basic maintenance and repair tasks across various trades, including plumbing, carpentry, painting electric work, equipment maintenance, welding and machine work. Responsibilities include fixing plumbing fixtures, installing locks and blinds, patching surfaces, replacing electrical parts, maintaining equipment, and constructing or repairing objects like racks and gates. The role also requires assisting other trades such as HVAC, custodial, and grounds maintenance as directed by the supervisor.
