Seeking a full-time line cook to join our team. Must be able to work nights and weekends. Kitchen experience strongly preferred but not required. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Chicago's most critically acclaimed pizzerias and learn from our experienced team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and chop ingredients according to recipes and menu specifications.
- Assist during service by cooking and assembling dishes as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including utensils and equipment.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure high-quality standards.
- Making, cutting, and balling pizza dough.
Experience
- Familiarity with knife skills and various cooking techniques is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen setting.
- Experience hand stretching pizzas and making dough preferred.
