Girardi's Osteria is hiring a Host/Busser to start immediately
Girardi's is a full service Italian restaurant in the same location for 26 years. It is an institution with a lot of tradition in Edmonds, and with a very loyal following. It is a healthy and friendly work environment.
Qualifications and job functions include (and we'll teach you how to do most of them):
We cannot teach you reliability and being on time to work, which you must already possess.
This is a great steady position that requires availability, punctuality, dedication, attention and a strong desire to serve restaurant guests. You will typically be scheduled for between 8 and 15 hours of work per week but more (and less) is possible depending on your availability and our needs.
Job Requirement: Preference is for the candidates who can start work Thursdays and Fridays at 11 am, and live no farther than 15 to 20 minutes away and have reliable transportation. We are also looking for candidates who are 18 years old or soon will be 18 (late 17).

You will receive around $20+ per hr ($17.88/hr in base wage plus a share of the tip pool currently averaging between $2.25 to $2.75 per hour.)
We allow staff to order from our entire menu half-off during their shifts, and free soda and coffee. We also provide family dinner discount of 20% on the entire bill when you dine with your family during your off days.
We do not allow visible tattoos or any facial piercings (you can remove them before you come to work, if you have any).

- Effective on the phone and in face to face communication
- Answer the phone, take reservations, respond to questions, greet guests and guide them to available tables
- Buss tables, fill water, clear and clean tables, run food
- Package web food orders and have ready for customer pick up
- Just be an all-around high energy influence and super help to everyone
- Close proximity to work and reliable transportation is a must
- Not just a busser job or just a host job, this is a combination host/busser position
