Custodian

Staffmark is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for a local facility in Ruston, LA. If you take pride in your work and enjoy keeping spaces neat and sanitary, we want to hear from you!

Pay Rate: $12.00/hour

Schedule:

• Monday & Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, floors, mirrors, and stalls
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Empty trash and sanitary bins regularly
• Report maintenance issues like leaks or damaged fixtures
• Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE and cleaning products
• Secure cleaning supplies and tools after each shift
• Communicate supply needs or concerns to the Facilities Manager

What We're Looking For:

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Commitment to cleanliness and safety standards
• Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs, bend, and stand for long periods
• Professional, respectful, and discreet-especially in a church or community setting
