SUMMARY:
Responsible for the preparation of all foods during an assigned shift, in accordance with Grand Casino's specifications and standards.
*Sign on bonus of $500 will be paid out after 90 days of employment
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
Responsible for preparing, seasoning, finishing, and garnishing all food in kitchen preparation in accordance with established recipes.
Follow all recipes and production specifications.
Knowledge and execution of menus.
Assist in all areas of food production as needed.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary area at all times in full accordance with state health regulations.
Participate as a team member with Supervisors, Chefs, Cooks, FOH and all other pertinent Associates in ensuring an efficiently run operation.
Knows and follows all safety and security regulations in accordance with Grand Casino's policy and procedures.
Must be able to execute and prioritize multiple orders with efficiency, quality and ad to food safety practices.
Must have knowledge and be able to execute in other outlets of Food and Beverage.
Any and all other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Two (2) years of restaurant kitchen production experience with a minimum one (1) year cooking.
Serv-Safe Certification preferred.
COMPETENCIES:
Trustworthy and collaborative relationships with others.
Organized and flexible to meet the needs of the business, guests and associates.
Exhibit the values of thepany culture; honesty, humility, truth, wisdom, love, respect, and bravery.
Begin work on time for their scheduled shifts, schedule PTO in advance and exhibits flexibility in scheduling or supporting other Associates by assuming shifts from other team members or Department demands.
Aplishes required work within expected guidelines.
Flexibility to work various roles and outlets
