Job Details The Prospect: The Prospect will redefine hospitality in Mount Prospect. Personal service and the ultimate dining experience will be hallmarks of the two-story restaurant. Guests will be immersed in culinary techniques as the team prepares dishes influenced by both Italian and Argentinian culture. The Prospects approach to open and honest hospitality will extend beyond a congenial smile and handshake, making its way into fresh and seasonal ingredients that will fuel the body and warm the soul. Job Description: Hosts at The Prospect serve as the first point of contact for guests and create a positive first impression. Hosts will:- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Manage reservations and effectively organize seating charts
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Monitor and manage waitlists during peak hours and communicate any waitlist issues with a manager
- Collaborate with waitstaff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service
- Engage with guests to enhance a personal dining experience
- Accept and manage guest inquiries and special requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and various areas of the restaurant
- Assist in clearing and resetting tables
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00)
