Prep Cook (Grill)**
**Job Description**
Join our dynamic culinary team as a Prep Cook, where you will focus on preparing sides, appetizers, and desserts to delight a diverse student body. This role is essential in supporting the daily meal preparation for approximately 3,000 students, contributing to their educational experience.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prepare food items such as sides, appetizers, and desserts.
+ Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen after preparation and serving.
+ Store or discard excess food in compliance with safe food handling procedures.
+ Support the ordering and receiving of food supplies.
+ Foster positive relationships with coworkers and the student body.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in food preparation, handling, and production.
+ Customer service skills with a focus on interacting positively with students and faculty.
+ Reliability in fulfilling job duties and maintaining a consistent work schedule.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in cooking is preferred but not required, with less than one year needed for prep cooks.
+ Flexibility for shifts and hours, including availability for nights and weekends.
+ Reliable transportation is preferred but not mandatory, as the location is accessible via public transport.
