This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and service our guests have come to expect.

**Responsibilities:**

- Operate washing machines, dryers, and dry-cleaning equipment efficiently to process hotel linens, guest clothing, and staff uniforms.

- Sort and pre-treat laundry by fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal care and prevent damage.

- Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and techniques for different fabric types, ensuring adherence to safety protocols for handling chemicals.

- Monitor cleaning cycles, ensuring equipment is functioning correctly and garments are processed within prescribed time frames.

- Perform quality checks on cleaned items, addressing any stains, damages, or discrepancies.

- Maintain laundry areas, ensuring a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly to ensure minimal disruption to operations.

- Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to coordinate laundry services and prioritize urgent requests.

- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linen, alerting management to reordering needs in a timely manner.

- Package and label completed laundry for delivery or pick-up, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.

- Assist with special requests or additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the hotels operations.

**Qualifications:**

- Prior experience in a laundry or dry-cleaning role is preferred, but not required.

- Familiarity with laundry and dry-cleaning machinery and chemicals is an advantage.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently produce high-quality results.

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift or move heavy loads for extended periods.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
